The perfect careers event for students who love sport but recognise they won’t be good enough to play or coach professionally. This is an opportunity to learn about a career in sport as well as watch some world class tennis.
Learn from the experts on the following sports related careers:
- Media – meet a TV sports commentator and a radio journalist who have forged careers in talking and writing about sport. How do you get to enjoy the best seats in the house and talk about your favourite sport?
- Player Management – meet the team from one of the leading agencies who look after top sports stars. What does it take to manage Nick Kyrgios?
- Umpiring and Refereeing – meet people who have made a career of being in the hottest seat in tennis, the umpires chair. What does it take to travel the world and take control of the biggest matches?
- Data Analysis - meet one of the team responsible for giving leading British players the inside track on their opponents. Find out how you get to be the brains behind British Davis Cup and Fed Cup success.
- Administration – meet a leading official from the International Tennis Federation who has the responsibility for organising world ranking tennis events across Europe. What does it take to make a worldwide tennis event happen?
